She's been doing this forever so I'm used to it, but when I have friends over sometimes she's walking around nude in the morning cooking breakfast and they see her and stare.
I asked her to stop but she says it's her house and they can leave if they don't like it.
What should I do to make her agree to stop?

If that's the way your mom is sweetie, you're best bet would be to not invite friends over....
Go to your friends' houses instead....
Like she said, its her house and if they dont like it they can leave....
Unfortunately it doesnt sound like you have much of a chance at changing her mind.... Im a mom, and I wouldnt do that, but at the same time I can see her point about it being her house.....
Not saying I agree with that logic, but sounds like she is set in her ways....

Unfortunately, it IS her house and what she says is right. The thing is that if you want to have friends over, do make sure that you tell them about this beforehand. If it really gets out of hand for you, maybe you should consider waking up later or not having breakfast or finding a way to avoid this contact. If you think that's too much trouble, well then there's not much you can do about it.

I think your mom has come to a level in her thinking where it doesn't make a difference whether she's completely naked or fully clothed. In this case, she chose to be naked and being
at that stage for quite sometime. She doesn't care about what
people may think of her nakedness.
My advice to you is to respect your mom's wishes to be naked
although you may feel awkward about it. When your friends
visit you the next time in your house, get them a place, like
in the study room where they can't see her walking naked to
the kitchen. Gently explain the situation to your friends and I'm
sure they'll understand.

My suggestion to you is that you sit down with your mom and explain to her that while it doesn't bother you that she does this when it's just the family, but that you find it really embarassing that she's doing this in front of your friends. Concentrate on letting her know how it makes you feel...let her know that this is something really small she could be doing that would make you feel so much better. Maybe make a trade with her, too, if necessary. In other words, she does this for you and you do something for her.Good luck!

Pretty tough to make her stop something that is her way of life. Youcan try and make some kind of deal like could she wear a loose robe or not stay near your friends. Why should it bother you? Do the friends only stare? She a hottie?

Technically she is correct. She can be in any manner of dress or undress she wants to be in while inside her house. However she should respect your wishes when you have guests over.
As to how to get her to stop, your only option is to get her to sit down and talk about it in a calm manner without pointing fingers or yelling at each other. If this does not work then I am afraid you should hangout with your friends somewhere else.

Your mom may or may not know this, but she is sexually abusing you and your friends because in our culture a mom does not do this and it probably causes sexual arousal in boys who see her. She may have had sex with you or with other people that is inappropriate if you think about it. If you have any problems emotionally see a counselor or a psychologist if you can do so. I would move out of the house as soon as you are of legal age.

I think your mom should have a little bit of respect for you and your friends and especially for herself! If shes willing to talk to you i think that you two need to sit down and talk. I don't think any mother needs to be running around the house naked in front of children. Wish you the best!

WOW, in front of friends? UGH I'm guilty of being naked a lot around the house, only though in the morning when I'm getting ready or at night when I'm getting ready for bed. And ONLY my family sees me this way.
You may want to let your mother know that if others see her naked......cuz she purposely walks around that way.....all your friends have to do is mention it to others....it'll get around and she may get into big trouble for indecent exposure to children, or however old all your friends are.
Maybe buy her a robe for Christmas?? :-)

Ask her why? Tell her it's not good to do that in front of your friends. It's also makes you uncomfortable. She really should know better. I don't care if it is her house. Some things you just don't do. You might also try buying her a robe.
