am using a dvbt usb tv tuner to receive programmes. do i have to pay tv license.

yes I am afraid so, any telesignal received by any means - must pay tele licence

any type of television requires a tv licence by the way though, freeview box channels come at no extra cost to watch!! just nuy the box and you get 30+ extra channels!!
