I am not at all offended. I feel very sad for the person and I pray for them, but I know where I'm going, and nothing they say can change that.

What in the world is an "atheist agnostic"???

If somebody can't even make up their mind whether or not they can make up their mind about believing in god...I'm not going to lose too much sleep about anything they have to say.

why should one be offended ? there is not set criteria guaranteeing anyone will go to either place. how does either an atheist or an agnostic know where anyone is going.

I'm not. I feel sorry for them. Think of it this way, if I'm wrong, then when I die I'll just be dead. But if they're wrong (and they are), and God is real, then in hell will they lift up their eyes. What do I have to lose? I have everything to gain because He is real, He's alive. Hell is real, it's hot and it's doubling in size just for people like them. That's not being judgemental, that's the word!
read it and weep! literally!

A statement similar to that one made a dinner date go horribly awry for me about 4 months ago...

I didn't even say it like that though. But the fact that I didn't share her beliefs insulted not only her, but the memory of every dead relative that she believed she was going to see when she died.

She actually started crying right there at the table.

That was a bit uncomfortable... :)

No. maybe some, but not all. There may be a reason why agnostics say thus, some kind of wake up call or something like that.

My assurance and my salvation doesn't come from man so why should I be worried what a man has to say. In Jesus Christ I am saved and through His word my salvation is confirmed daily. Through my prayers I grow closer to Him. His blessed assurance is with me always.
