It makes it hard for him to want to do anything bad or wrong. She isn't possessive or jealous at all or keeps tabs on him. Her boyfriend said that it almost makes him feel like he is in a cage because he gets to do almost anything he wants without my friend really giving him a hard time. He says that he is used to his past girlfriends being really possessive and selfish that he had a reason to fight with them.

Does this make sense that he feels hooked to her because she doesn't give him a hard time at all and is so sweet to him? Another guy friend of mine said that it is a guy's dream to have a woman so easygoing and nagless. Is this a bad thing or good thing?

it can go either way. If he is cheating and she dosnt care she is hurting her self. she could get a diseas from him if he sleeps around. And if she nags he could leave because she gets to annoying. also if she dosnt nag he might feel guilty that he does it so he wont do it. or if she nags he might feel guilty as well and stop it all depends on what kind of man or women you have and how much they do it or dont do it

some men tend to think that love means being pushy and possessive, when in reality when there is real love there is space to be yourself and time to do what you like to do. I think he is used to dating women with a very low self esteem, and now that he has a girl that seems to know what she wants and has high self esteem , he doesn't know how to react. That only tells me that he has a low self esteem too and unconsciously feels he is not his girls interest because she is not all over him. It seems like he's got a good stable woman by his side but he might loose her if he doesn't believe in himself.

Could be either. Overdoing it is possessive, underdoing it makes it like she doesn't give a damn what he does. I think a halfway in between would be normal.

It is called trust. It is not a cage, but empowering. He needs to flush out his head gear and enjoy her.
