Anything that has a good beat..that makes you want to get up and dance. Don't forget the slower ones at the end to make your heat rate come back down slowly.

Anything that is Hard Rock or Techno, this will provide you w/ high energy and drive.

Slow music w/ de-motivate, hence, slow you down.

In my cardio kickboxing class
my instructor always uses this dance mix

now I hate her but that song is pretty good

I like metal and emo. Loud screams and crunching guitars (i.e., deftones and bullets for my valentine). I try to synch up my movements with rises and falls in the music. its fun.
