I think your play on words is funny, very subtle. Especially clever if you think Obrador's politics would lead to more illegal immigration from Mexico to US. But no, he didn't win and he is fighting trying to divide the country. He will not concede. It is just like our elections in 2000, the supreme court gave the spot to the other guy.

Conservative ruling party candidate Felipe Calderon won Mexico's
ferociously contested July 2 election and is president-elect, the top electoral court said in a draft ruling on Tuesday.

Earlier on Tuesday, the court said Calderon had won with a margin of about 234,000 votes. In this latest draft ruling, the court said he could now be declared president-elect, the first time the election body has made this announcement.

The federal Electoral tribunal ruled that Calderon was the winner and gave him the certificate of majority as well as passed to the two chambers the solemn edict declarin calderon president elect. the decision of the tribunal is final, so. the answer is yes, it has been settled: calderon is the next president of Mexico, not Lopez Obrador, despite of his anarchist tactics and inflamatory rethorics and his uncivil movement.

Frankly, I'm deeply worried about this. The opposition has put up such a fuss, and made such a stand with the mass demonstrations and such. They've riled people up so much and made such a fuss, that I don't think they'll back down. This very well could devolve to armed conflict. I pray to od someone backs down and tries to calm things down because I think civil unrest or war is likely if Obrador doesn't get his way. He won't start it, the people who support him will.
