People who are controlling are very insecure. If he was a secure person, he would know that he could trust you. If he can't trust you, then you created this situation. If you have done nothing to start this behavior then it is time to dump him. Controlling men end up hitting their women. Because as time goes by their women get tired of being told what they can or can't do. So they rebel and then that is when the physical violence starts. Move on honey it only gets worse. I know I have been there. Including a few trips to the hospital. Please get out while you can.

You need to get out of the relationship. As hard as it may be, you have to. He doesn't sound like he's going to change any time soon, and it could escalate further. Do this for yourself. Find someone who will respect you, he certainly does not. Love is never controlling.

You should go on Dr. Phil or Oprah or something. But if he's controlling now, more than likely, it will lead to physical abuse..especially if you break his so-called rules by talking to your friends and wearing whatever the heck you want to wear.

He is a very insecure person. It will only get worse. Now you are allowed to see family, if you give him time he will eventually keep you even from your family. Be smart. Leave him.

He's only as controlling as you allow him to be. Wear what you want, and tell him to bite it. If he doesn't like it, let him find a different g/f.
Unless you're happy to follow his every whim, of course. I certainly can't imagine putting up with such c*rap.

he is so controlling because it makes him feel like a "Big man" when in fact he is a little coward inside.
On the other hand, maybe you should ask yourself, "Why is such a control freak my boy friend?", followed by the question, "Do I deserve to be treated like a slave by anyone, especially him?"
I don't know you personally, but NO ONE deserves to be treated like he treats you.

Sorry to tell ya but your bf will be as controlling as you allow him to be. If you do all the ridiculous things he tells ya to, then he will continue controlling you. Be your own person. Do as you want and if he doesn't like it, then he needs to leave. Stand up for yourself.

maybe he just loves you too much and doesnt want you to reveal certain parts of your body..however it seems your bf is being too over protective..because at first i thought its just bout your appearance but it seems he dont want you mingling with others...i suggest you find out whats rong with him..no offence but it seems like he has a mental problem maybe in relationships..n finds it hard to trust and keep hold of someone...
