She never argue with her mom. She always follows her and never says no. Still lives with her also.

she said that she's been like this since childhood .. And things would be different if we get married. How do I convice her to stand up for what she believes in. and not always listen to her mother regardless if it is right or wrong.. only been with her almost a year. how should i explain to her my concern ? without sounding like a jerk.

She feels secure, and trusts that her mom will make the right decissions for her. Try talking to her about the issue, Let her trust u so that she can follow u instead, help her make good desicions too, also, dont leave her over that, And wait, Then Why dont u marry her!!!

talk to your gf.Let her know that thier r some things that you would like to do with her and if she needs to ask her mom than question if u wont to stay in this realationship? If you have to tell her she is a grown woman than she aint ready for this realationship.
