I'm not over weight, but I want to lose some because I guess that's just how I see myself. I'm 5'4" and about 105 lbs, but I feel fat.

Losing weight and staying slim is a lifestyle, there is no fast way to do it - forget fads and the latest diets. If you lose weight fast, either by diets or starving yourself, you will put it right back on when you return to your normal eating. Cut out sweets, cakes, biscuits and chocolates and replace with fruit and vegetables. When you have a meal, use a smaller size plate. Make sure there are more vegetables than meat/and or potatoes. Your stomach will gradually shrink and you will find yourself needing less food. Have your meals at the same time every day and don't skip any, this way you will not be tempted to have fattening snacks. Drink water with your meal, this is great for feeling full. There's no greater thrill than being able to fit into a smaller dress size, make this your goal and keep it in mind if you find yourself ogling a cream cake!

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

South Beach Diet is pretty healthy. The important thing is to find a diet that is healthy. You're most likely to stick with something that's not going to cause complications. Atkins is just crazy. Why would you want a diet that will kill you or make you constipated?
I've been on a really ultra healthy diet for the past three years. I won't tell you here because they would say I was advertising.

The fastest way to lose weight is too cut down on carbs, exercise and drink plenty of water. You can drop about four or five pounds a week that way. Remember: If you lose weight too quickly it is unhealthy and more likely to come back.

There is NO fast way to lose weight.
You have to lose weight at a health rate or you will just gain it all back quickly and sometimes more than you lost. Also when you lose weight too fast your skin will start to sag.
I personally would rather have a little extra weight on me than saggy skin, so take your time and do it right, good luck.

Stop looking for the fastest way and look for the most permanent way. It was put on slow take it off slow. Make sure you really need to loose weight and that your desire isn't the result of poor self image

DON'T DO IT!!! You're probably the perfect weight you're at now, if not a little under. Don't lose anymore, that would be unhealthy.

First thing is look at what you are eating. Cut out the fast foods. Read labels on products. Try to avoid high fructose anything. Keep the refined white sugar low. This is found in alot breads, candies and cookies and cakes.

Also exercising helps to build muscle strength which in turn makes your metabolism higher

Do not choose the fastest way. The condition will relapse. My tandava nritya and hitting the buttocks by heels showed steady effect only after 3 years. I am more than satisfied.
