that is very possible, the only way to find out for sure is to contact your school's financial aid office. if you for example received financial aid based on a full time or 3/4 enrollment status and dropping this class drops you below the full or 3/4 status then you may have to return some of the funds. You need to know what your status was, full/three fourths time, part or half time, or less than half time and if that status would change due to your dropping a class.

It depends on the nature of the financial aid.

When I was going for my undergrad, I was going full-time. All of my financial aid said that they would pay as long as I was full-time. So if I dropped a class and I still had enough credits, I was fine (which I did 3 times).

but like I said, it depends on the terms of the aid.

if you are past the add or drop period then yes the school has taken that money for the cost of your attendance and you are still responsible to pay the money back regardless. the add or drop period is typically the week after classes start so if you are past that point then you are pretty much out of luck

Not the full amount of the course, no. You would be responsible for whatever time you were taking the course though. If you look on the back of your enrollment agreement or on whatever loan paperwork you signed they will have the percentage of what you have to pay based on the length of time you were there.
