Does anyone know of any websites like www.skyscanner.net for regular (non-lowcost) airlines. I am very flexible and want the best deal but vitually every website Ive found you have to put specific dates and airports, and then if you dont get the deal you know is available you have to try the next day.. then next day ..then the next day.. till you find a good deal.

Global holidays you used be able to put in a search like January - any UK airport to New York it would then give you the best options and prices.. but then they changed to the same system as everyone.

I used to buy abut 5 flights a year with them but stopped when they changed.!! if the management care!

Any ideas?

Ask a travel agent. Specifically a travel agent who has a native language GDS (Global Distribution System) in their shop. An agent can work differently, namely look up the fare FIRST and see what booking classes are required and then search for dates. With a native language GDS this is a quick process. When you get behind 99% of (airline booking) websites, they all use, in the final analysis, one of a very limited number of booking engines (there are only about 4). You will have to pay a fee for this service but if it saves money and your time - Why not?
