Well I have a friend who has listened to that from a guy and I am afraid of 'projecting' my own problems on her (as I have been humiliated for being a virginlong ago) but I really think that if a guy comes to you and say he will be with you even though there is something on you he consideres a problem... I dont know... I dont know if I would think something good can come from it.
It is like someone saying "ok i will date you despite you being black" or "despite you being American" or "despite you being a parent". I dont know but I dont think it is right. Should I tell her to try to get out of this?

Rose G, I really don't know exactly whether you're making a case for your friend or for yourself. Whichever is the case, I believe people should base their love on substiantive things. And, for goodness sake, being virgin is NOT a stigma. As a matter of fact, I see it as a plus on your moral uprightness and discipline. So, you need to have a guy who has this believe if truly you're looking for a true and genuine love. If you allow just any guy to disvirgin you, it may lead to frustration and everlasting regret. The choice is yours, but please choose right. Cheers!

It depends on how well you know him. If he's truly sincere about being with her despite her choice, then let nature take it's course. Remember that every situation is different and what happened to you may not happen to her. Don't get me wrong, some guys may use it as a strategic move to woo the girl, but don't assume, he may actually mean it.

No, if the relationship is good. U know, I kinda have the samething happenin for me. I'm a virgin, and he knows it. Not a major detail in our relationship. Maybe a time will come while theyre on a date and theyll just head off in it. Ive kinda been think like that. Is he sayin waitin til marriage? Ive said that for years, but ive been thinkin, and i might change my mind same day. Sometime that bf might go for it.

Sounds like he doesn't want to be the guy who takes her virginity; some guys have no problem with it, but others with morals can't "be that guy". Another reasoning could be that he is a very sexual person and that if the girl wants to wait to lose her virginity then he'll have to wait as well.
Overall, unless the guy is a good person, she might want to try seeing someone else; if he's a dick, he might want to rush things and she could make a bad decision.

Yes...this girl should run as fast as she can from this guy! Why on earth would someone think that being a virgin is a negative thing when it seems to be given away like Halloween candy. She should be proud that she hasn't folded under peer pressure yet!

No, you shouldn't tell her this... The guy is just being honest; if she doesn't feel comfortable with what he said, perhaps she can bring it up with him - but I'm sure many people feel this way. I know I would probably turn around and run the other way if I found out a guy I was dating was a virgin.

It all depends on how comfortable she feels with this guy in general.

I think being a virgin is a really good thing. I would prefer a virgin. THis way she treats her self as a good person and she respects her self. But it dosnt matter either way.

well either that is a good sign from him, meaning that he has no intention of having sex until he is married and that is his way of telling you that.or he like that fact that your a virgin so that he can score with you.all me like to have a virgin just to know that he was your first.so no helpful hints here, just knowledge.time will only tell on this one.

I don't think it will work out for her either, but she has to figure that out on her own. There's nothing you can do about it except be her friend and encourage her to be true to herself.
