Rubbermaid really cut into Tupperware's market, because it's cheaper, easier to find, and in some cases more durable. Try selling something else. Mary Kay is really expensive, but there's Avon, the Body Shop, Tastefully Simple, and Pampered Chef.

Rubbermaid and Gladware are the 'new' Tupperware. I hope you have a better time of it. Try posting in forums where people are collecting coupons and using recipes and such just with a little notation at the end of your signature that you are a representative with a link to your on line store. That may help. Best wishes!

I don't think it is that great of a product anymore (or ever). I hope you didn't put a lot of money into this venture. Get out before you spend any more money. It is easier to get a job outside the home then sell Tupperware, Avon, etc.

Good luck to you.

Because back in the day it was good. It was the only thing around. No competition. Then all of a sudden-okay 25 years later, everybody was making the product. Is it as strong/pliable as Tupperware? No. Do we really care if it lasts 40 years? no. We want the cheap gladware stuff and we recycle our frozen dinner trays. Ahhh, it was fun back in the day. Thanks for the blast from the past!

Tupperware is cheap and easy to find in regular stores, I seriously doubt that anyone will be interested in buying tupperware online. Unless its like some collectors edition tupperware or something, lol. Sorry about that, and good luck.

It's too good. The stuff lasts forever, so once someone buys it, they never need it again. That and the fact that no one wants to go to a Tupperware party anymore.

Also, the above answers are correct. We live in a disposable world. Before too long we'll be neck deep in bic lighters and gladware.

Ha ha ha ha. .. . someone douched you into selling tupperware. A little advice. . . . before you start a business venture. . . do some research man!!!! You'd have a better chance selling Ultra Douchebagg Michael Moore an exercise bike than you would selling tupperware!

That's probably why they have the age old TupperWare Party. Try active selling instead of passive.

People love to go to tupperware parties. They love the socialization aspect and the free gifts. Try that.

people are not tending to go on-line just to buy a tupperware.
