I've worked in racing for nearly 7 years. I spent two years out on studs and the past 4 and a half in a racing admin office. I mainly deal with race results and stallion registration, so am pretty up on all the goings on around the industry.

Unfortunately as I am not on a racing yard I don't get many tips. Most of my answers come about simply because I know the right place to look and who to ask for the information.

My only tip so far this year (which I put up a few months ago) was for Echo of Light, a Godolphin trained colt. A friend of mine works for them and is insistent that he has Group 1 written all over him. Unfortunately he has a few temperament issues and his only two runs in G1 races to date have resulted in him boiling over. He is due to run in the QEII at Ascot and the Champion Stakes at Newmarket.

I was at Yarmouth yesterday and saw some very promising runs in the two year old races. Follow these two next time out: CLEIDE DA SILVA (Jeremy Noseda trains) and HABALWATAN (Clive Brittain).

Good luck!
