They're both so dirty from the shooting I did this weekend. I must have blown a hole in 1000 Miller Lite cans.

never clean both your guns at the same time.. in case a liberal tries to sneak up on you..
clean the AR first, keep the Mac loaded.. it's looser bolt will still cycle when dirty.
then clean the Mac while the AR is at the ready.
never be without a functional weapon.. charlie woulda taught you that my friend.

Depends on how much time you have. The AR-15 will take longer to clean than ther MAC-10. Also which do you plan on using next?

ar 15 first as you have a longer barrel. but if you used lead points on one and not the other clean the lead bullet gun first so that you can be more careful to remove any excess leading of the barrel. and the second one is always sloppy so keep that in mind

Clean the MAC10 first because it needs more tender loving care. I keep my shot gun really clean, I like close in work.

Always keep your close quarters weapon ready, so clean the MAC 10 first. Once that's locked and loaded go for the rifle.

Take them both all apart & pile the pieces together, then clean each piece & place in a second pile when done. Then see if you can reassemble both. Don't worry if there's extra pieces, those are spares, you don't need them. Make sure to smash these spares with a hammer so no one else can use them. Then you should be all set for your next liquor store robbery.

If you need to ask that question maybe you shouldn't have weapons. Especially assult rifles...stupid. They should have already been cleaned. Always clean them as soon as yer through shooting for the day.
