take out a square glass baking pan and add melted butter. Add hot dogs, put into the oven for about 20mins to 1/2 hour on 300f. Keep turning the dogs so they are evenly buttered throughout the whole time...probably every 5 mins.

meantime:
Get hot dog rolls that are flat/open on sides so you can butter them and grill them in a frying pan. Once all done put each roll on a separate square of aluminum foil - when dogs are done, put one in each roll, put on american cheese slices to each and add condiments you like or....mustard, relish and chopped onions then fold up foil to make a pouch for each dog...turn up the oven to 375f and bake the dogs for another 10 - 15 mins. OMG out of this world!

You have to cook the franks (weinners) first and most people boil them in water but I cook them with the chili on a slow fire. That way the franks plump up and the chili is nice and hot. After the meat and chili is cooked then you take a hot dog bun, open it and add whatever condiments you want. Most people like mayo, mustard, ketchup, cheese and chopped onions. I like mustard and onions. Some people like sour kraut also. You make them with whatever it is you like. If you don't want the chili then just cook the weinners and add mayo and/or mustard and ketchup or just plain in the bun. It's up to you

Did you want recipes that include hot dogs in them? Or did you want the recipe to actually make your own hotdogs?

Got to do pigs in the blanket. Wrap turkey, chicken, beef or pork dogs in refrigerated biscuits or cresents. Cook till brown and serve. They are great for kids and adults who still like kid food. Good for ball games too.
