I was wondering if this would be considered a reasonably healthy breakfast:

1 cup of scrambled eggs (plain, cooked)
8oz (1 cup) of fresh-squeezed orange juice
One (1) blueberry Nutrigrain bar

Thanks :)

Although it isn't bad, you have to look at the sugar/fat content of everything mentioned.

Are the eggs cooked in oil or butter or are they prepared in a non stick skillet with nothing, not even Pam?

What is the calorie/fat/dietary fiber of the Nutrigrain bar?

What is the grand total of calories from this one meal, and how many calories does this leave you for the rest of the day out of your desired total daily calorie intake.

Also, it depends on the person this meal is for. Their health level/age. Are they diebetic, heart problems, etc.

Sorry to make it sound more complicated than it necessarily is.

1 cup of scrambled eggs is how many eggs?
the juice is fine, twice in a day
read the back of that blubrry bar
better to get a muffin from a whole food store
and if you'd like a piece of toast and a cup of coffee
is fine all on it's own. then a whole gram muffin pre lunch
then a tuna salad, with lemon juice, and a cup of orange
juice at around 2:00p.m. and for dinner, fish or steak with
crisp garden salad and a yogurt parfait...

Yes that is a pretty healthy breakfast. Most people skip it, which is a very poor mistake. Try having scrambled egg whites instead of the whole egg

Sounds like a good start. I might substitute an apple or another piece of fruit instead of the Nutrigrain bar. Good Luck !

well i think a good breakfast has to include milk. so i suggest to drop the nutrigrain bar and if u like to hae cereal in the morning then have that with skim milk. its the best with eggs or toast. milk is very important.. and thats not just ur mom telling u.. hehe.. i realized this after 2 years of having a glass of skim milk everymorning. it doesnt make you gain infact it helps u lose weight and keep fit.
goodluck..

Yes, that's a healthy breakfast. Sounds close to what I eat every morning, except I drink apple juice instead.

Try swapping the bar for some wholemeal toast with your eggs, or some fruit instead.Other then that its pretty healthy.
