What is up with you people using the platypus to justify Jesus having humor? I don't think it looks that funny. Anyway from my experience, Jesus does have a sense of humor. Like all the taxis i flag are on the other side of the road. And when I cross the road to have a better chance of getting one, they stop coming and the road I came from will be full of cabs. I swear this happens on a regular basis.

I believed He did...and still does!

I heard a story by Ken Davis called Super Sheep. It's awesome and talks about Jesus and His humor ((and much, much more)).

It's not disrespectful in any way, shape or form and I would recommend it to any Christian (especially) with a sense of humor!

The scriptures tell us laughter is good medicine...and it's true!

God / Jesus ROCKS!!!

I don't know if He ever laughed, as written in the Gospel, but I'm pretty sure He had a sense of humor... after all, He made the platypus.

naturally he had a sense of humor. I'm guessing but in my opinion he had to see the humor in all the misunderstandings mankind must be under as they tried to find the answers then like we are now.

That is a tough question. I know that He used satire, but I don't know as if He laughed. Imagine this: being the Son of God, you know the Scriptures and your read Isaiah 53, knowing how you are going to die and who is going to do it to you. Remember the Garden of Gethsemane in which he sweat beads of blood for great was his burden to fulfill prophecy and do the will of His Father. Imagine knowing as He continued fulfilling prophecy after prophecy that the end of His life on Earth in which He created was about to end with nothing less than the full wrath of God, being scourged, spat on, beard plucked out, crown of thorns rammed into his temple, being nailed to a cross and suffer humiliation finally to suffocate to death for the sins of humanity. Imagine that and ask again if He was able to laugh having this foreknowledge of His torturous death. I couldn't and I don't know anybody that could.

I think everyone who takes great joy in their work has a sense of humor.

Of course he did. You seem to forget he had a whole childhood and young adulthood. His public life was only 3 years. Even then, I'm sure he laughed and played with his apostles...and definitely with the children.

He was a proper joker, Jesus was.

He is credited with inventing the Woopie Cushion and fake Vampire fangs

I think we can safely assumed that baby Jesus laughed unless he had some serious mental illness.

No - he was not a happy guy cause he knew what was going to happen to him.

I've never seen any artwork of him with a smile, but I could be wrong
