im 19 and get drunk a lot of the time i do the most ridiculious things but never regret them am i being a tart or just living my life?

I´ve never been drunk, nor do I plan on starting drinking. I´m 19 as well, and all of my friends who drink do silly things, so it´s not just you.

Some people are silly drunks while others are mean drunks. Still others can't keep it in their pants when they drink. My advice to you is the following: (1) try not to drink so much. I know you are young and the tendency is to drink to get drunk, but that doesn't always have to be your goal. (2) If you do plan to get drunk, just make sure you are in a safe environment. That way, the only real risk you will take is that of embarrassing yourself and not getting raped or worse. (3) Understand that there are consequences. One of the risks of promiscuous behavior in this uptight culture is that of being judged harshly by your peers. If you can live with the consequences then you have nothing to worry about. However, if you get drunk and act out sexually, you may get a reputation that you don't want.

Keep doing what you are doing, but set boundaries. As long as you don't try to 'up the ante' each time you drink you should be fine. Drinkingmakes everyone do silly things...just make sure you are in a safe environment with honest friends...some side effects of drinking to the point of being silly include loss of employment, pregnancy or even death.

Vickiebee, you said that despite the fact that you do the most ridiculous things when you're drunk yet you don't regret them. I think that has really said it all. You really have the right to live your life the way you want it. Since you're NOT complaining, I think it's very wrong for anyone else to complain. Cheers!

Your exploring who you are and how you fit into this world.....and you just happen to have dropped your inhibitions when you are intoxicated... Most people do the same thing... You're testing your identity in the world and taking risks that you normally restrain yourself from... It usually isn't a problem in the grand scheme of things..so show at least some constraint- but have fun and take a walk on the wild side now and again! Just stay safe!

I just get way to giddy .. and giggle way to much. Its very rare for me to drink right now, since I am a mommy. But when I don't have to worry about my son, and I have that moment of getting drunk I always have someone I can trust to make sure I don't do something I would regret

Hell no!! Im 19 aswell and my god the amount of times i've opened my eyes in the morning with a tremendous hangover and flashbacks of the night before i jus put my head under the quilt and pretend it was a dream.
It happens to everyone and it ent nuthin to be ashamed of jus make sure you aren't an alcoholic lol!!

I am 19 to and I would say you are living and enjoying life, because that's what I do 2...
Just crap around with my friends and have a laugh when we are drunk...
Its gonna be good memories you'll see...

Oh the stories I could tell you. Most people to strange things when they are drunk, trust me I know. Don't regret them unless you are hurting other people. Just enjoy yourself, but be safe and never drive!

Alcohol makes you more uninhibited. Just be careful that you don't end up doing something you regret. Is getting drunk that much fun? If so then I guess you're alright. Just remember that one drunken stupor could lead to a life changing experience...believe me.
