Hi!
Very Good question!
Now there is a difference between an "EXORCISTS" and a "CHRISTIAN":
I don't mean to be political but look this event in the bible:
Act 19:13-16
"Then some of the itinerant Jewish EXORCISTS undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, "I adjure you by the Jesus, whom Paul proclaims."
"Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this."
"But the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?"
"And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded."
What to learn from this event:
1.Just because someone belongs to a family of believers does not make him have authority over demons. The sons of Sceva, their dad was a priest but they could not cast out this demon!
2.Please note that the bible describes these 7 guys as "EXORCISTS", yet they could not cast a demon in the mad man! This confirms what I have been saying:
"Exorcism and Christianity don't go together"
Then how do explain what happens during Catholic Exorcism?
Demons pretend that they have come out of the person while they have not.Remember Jesus said "Satan is a liar".It is no surprise, they may pretend to be in pain when they are being "EXORCISED" so as to let people think EXORCISM gives them a tough time....THE DEMONS KNOW THAT ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED JESUS CHRIST and SERVE HIM FAITHFULLY CAN CAST OUT DEMONS IN HIS NAME!
3. Demons know who has given himself to Jesus Christ and who has not..that is why the demon possessed guy beat the sons of Sceva. If we should get into the subject of Catholicism, Mary is not suppose to be included in prayers of Christians because JESUS IS THE ONLY MEDIATOR according to 1 Timothy 2:5.Because of that,Catholism is not CHRISTIANITY.
4.Demons can enter a Christian and stay in his body (and not his spirit) on the following conditions:
-If the Christian grieves the Holy Spirit by his sinful living:
-Jesus said that after a demon is cast out of person, it goes to dry places, and if it does not find a dwelling place, it goes back to the original person and if it finds that he does not have God in him, it goes to call seven stronger demons to come with and dwell in the person (Matthew 12:43-45)
-UNFORGIVENESS in some Christians allows demons to enter them!
Jesus Christ said "Go and sin no more" to the woman who committed adultery. If you commit adultery, you will contact demons that cause DIVORCE!
Therefore it is not surprising to see Christians(that is if they do not practice Catholism) being delivered from demons...
Hope this helps.

Saints of God (true believers) cannot be demon possessed but they can be oppressed. There's a difference. How can you have someone who's spirit filled have Christ and Satan dwelling in him at the same time? Only one is going to rule and reign in your life. It can't happen. Things like depression, loneliness, those are a form of oppression. Satan will do his gut level best to attack your mind and anything else to get you off focused. Hopefully, if the catholics are practicing exorcisms, they're not doing it on any of THEIR members. How can they cast out anything anyway, they act like they have to go to a priest to repent and be forgiven for sins. Christ has made it possible for us to have access to God through Him.

There is no demon possession today, no matter what the Catholic church claims.
Zechariah 13:2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

Of course there is still demon possession today.
The ruler of this world is Satan and his demons.
If one decides to come into contact with them - through spiritism or calling on them, then guess what they will come and start problem.
If we don't want any contact with them then we simply stay away from these things.
God wants us to "flee from spiritism" - fortunetellers, wizards, witches, anyone who calls on these spirits for help...
And no, God will not protect anyone who does this cause he warns us to stay away.
And these people who practice exorcism are not people sent by God so these evil spirts just get a kick out of it.
They enjoy tricking people and stirring them further away from God Jehovah by believing lies.

Why would you want to be told it doesn't happen when there's no evidence at all for demons, gods or devils of any kind?
In other words, it's a very ignorant assumption.

ROFLMAO
a non believer can be possessed, and until the devil or devils are removed they can not be saved, so they must be removed, then the soul can have a chance to be saved!
A Christian can not be possessed, an xhristian can and often are!

I believe it does happen. Probably with more frequency than anyone realizes.
Biblical ideas are designed to control people. I can not really grasp the concept that "you are safe if you believe"...Bad things happen to good people, but that doesn't mean that God doesn't exist.
