On the assumption that you are asking about race, rather than the generic description, the French are about as racially mixed as it is possible to get. The north west coast is mainly Viking (Normans is a contraction of Norsemen) but otherwise they are a hotch potch. The south of France differs racially from that of the north to an extent and has a lot of similarities with Italy.

There seems to be an increasing number of scientists who say there is no such thing as race as you can't define it. It is wrong to assume that the people of one country are a 'race'. Italy and Germany were not countries until fairly recently.

There is no German race. Aryan is Hitler's great confusion. They came originally from Afghanistan and had dark hair and skin. Aryan also means the group of languages that includes Sanskrit, Zend, Persian, Greek, Latin, Teutonic and Slavonic.

Perhaps the only answer to your question is: French.
