ok so my ex boyfriend broke up with me a couple months ago. then last week his current rebound or whatever she is yahoo messeges me saying shes young and has lots of goals and doesnt want to be with him or in a relationship and asks for my help to break up with him so she doesnt hurt him..meanwhile he doesnt believe anything i tell him about her and says hes in love i really dont want to see him hurt but i dont get this.

It doesn't sound to me like this girl is a "current rebound or whatever". It sounds to me like you are jealous and playing games. The only drama I see here is the drama you are creating. Obviously this girl feels comfortable coming to you for advice and feels that you know him and may be able to help preserve his feelings. Instead of trying to save his feelings, you are going to him with everything she says. Seems to me you have some issues. You still have a thing for this guy, but you don't care how he feels. What a selfish biootch. "I really don't want to hurt him" LOL Obviously you don't really mean that. Grow up!

I feel you should stay away from both of them and let them deal with their own problems. Life is too short to bother with toxic people. It's nice of you not to want to see him hurt, but he's the one responsible for his own life. For you, just go out, have fun, meet other guys and, hopefully, find a good one.

Love is blind so just let him be. by you telling him those stuff about his g/f makes him think that you are trying to break them apart and it's making you look bad. sooner or later they will break up and you then you can be there and comfort him.
