I used to be. I was depressed and not taking care of things. I woke up scared everyday and stayed that way. Some of it was real, some of it was in my mind. I still am scared but not all of the time and it is manageable now.

If you are always feeling this way, you may be depressed or have a panic disorder. Is there someone you can talk to about this? Does life seem overwhelming to you?

Please don't let this go too far without talking to an expert or at least a family doctor.

Good luck and God Bless you.

Yes, life can be really scary, we have so many responsibilities and sometimes it's hard just to keep going. Ignore negative people (like some of the dimwits that answered your question) and look for the positives in life. Try to appreciate the little things, like curling up on a comfy chair with a great book and a cup of hot chocolate (or whatever little things you find fun). I hope you are lucky enough to have family and friends who love you and who you can turn to when things get too scary.

Take Care

Yes, I am. I spend a lot of time in my bed with the covers over my head so no one can see me. I keep all the blinds down in my apartment, and I never, ever go outside. I don't drive or own a car because someone might try to get me when I am outside. I don't let anyone come in either. I never do that. I am very afraid someone will come here and start reading to me from the bible and bore me absolutely to death. I keep a big pot of hot water on the stove at all times to throw at those people who might try to come in here. In the mornings I sneak out of bed and run to the toilet so no one will see me. The garbage can out back is so far away from my door that I have to run real fast through the apartment so I am going top speed when I shoot out the door to dump my trash. Then I look all around to make completely sure I am all alone, then run as fast as I can back inside my place and lock all the doors.

I forgot to tell you. This morning there was something in my potty that was moving. I am worried about taking down my clothes to sit down there now. That thing might get me. I don't want to talk about this no more. I am getting pretty skeered right now.

Oh dear .. you should think about going to your doctor and getting a referral to a mental health therapist.

Yes, there are scary things in life .. things to fear.

But .. there are also many wonderful experiences waiting for you out there.

Remember, you can't control everything in this world, only yourself and how you react to what's going on around you .. so try not to be scared and please get some counselling.

Good Luck to you.

It's not life that scares me, it's the people.

The only thing I'm scared of is that I'm taking the time to answer this question! Move in with a shrink.
