It all depends on the nature of the job you desire to get in the industry. There are technical jobs which require engineering qualifications. Many other jobs require qualificatons like B.com, MBA, CA, B.Sc. etc.

If you have a good computer knowledge then you dont need it...!!!
I am a senior system engineer in a leading MNC... i have never done any engineering!
