Hmmm.....imagine for just a moment that you are wrong. Or that there is more than one truth.
You can't, can you?
That's the answer.

hello:}
okay so you alone KNOW the truth ???that is what is wrong with christianity ,it is the fact christians tell you that your going to hell ,that you dont or can not possibly know anything inless you are a christian .it is very hypocritical to assume you would be the ONLY ones who could SAVE yourself or others ???can you not see that ???why is it that other faiths that have the same tenants and that love God or allah or whatever they CALL their god are exempt in your mind ?????
ONLY try to help those who ask for it >>>>no one who has spiritual beliefs should feel like they are going straight to hell and that the only WAY is through christianity ???
how pompos and self rightous is that >>??????
i do not go around telling people how i KNOW the truth and that they MUST learn it in order to be saved and how i am doing it for their own good ?????
PLEASEEEEEEEE that is why chrisitans are hated ,,,,,,feared ????no no no !!!! but i am perfectly capable of having a relationship with my God without any sort of label on it .
and it is NOT appreciated when chrisitians constantly act so superior and think they are some exclusive club ...and ONLY they know the truth ?????
of course this is pointless as it has been my experience that chrisitans are very narrow minded and simply do not associate with non chrisitians Even though they want to convert everyone -----hummm hypocritical hummmm yeah ------------------
i dont hate anyone and i certainly do not fear any one ,i do the best i can and TRY to live by the words" treat others as you would yourself" and all this debating and nonsense and wars and hatred could not exsist .
anyway if your beliefs free you and make you responsible and loving towards your fellow man that is wonderful but why can you not allow other peoples beliefs to have merit and that is where chrisitianity goes way afield.....
best to you
peggy:}

I think that there are more people than just Christians who fear in death as most people know not what happens when you die and therefore they fear it .We are now living in a spiritual dark age and it is a major crisis at this time but we are now entering a new age where the brotherhood of all humanity will be known and where death will lose its grasp on all humanity as we all begin to understand ourselves as souls.

Your thoughts are obviously one from personal experience. The problem is that you cannot see that others want proof of your cure. You have no proof it is your word which comes from one book only against what someone trying the facts. Also it would more help your cause if you wouldn't preach hatred of others, if you wouldn't exclude those who didn't believe as you do. It would help if you didn't start wars in His names sake. I would help if you were more Christ-like instead of Republicanish. You don't have to destroy others beliefs in order to make yours right. If it is right then it will show in your life and be evident to others. Christians have got to get that message. You can't show Christ in your life if your life is restricted to believers and those with like minds. You said it yourself. You are telling everyone that they are "sick" and "dying" not that they are loved and cherished.

I don't hate you, but you have it backwards. You are the one with the disease who can not even tell he has a disease. The disease makes you think those without it are diseased.
You know how to tell you are the one infected instead of me? Because you no doubt fear exposing yourself to knowledge that might undermine your faith. Faith is the disease. No doubt you reject faith in ordinary matters, but for reasons you don't even understand, you accept it for religious matters. That's the disease. It's a mental virus that tricks its host into trying to spread it.

I think, partly because we Christians, many a time give a bad testimony to the world, and a distorted and selfish picture of Jesus Christ. Now, for the rest of it, I think it is mainly because, like the scriptures say... "For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one [we are] the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life." (2 Cor 2:15-16a). None likes the smell of death around him and especially the smell of his own death. So some get scared, some attack, some mock, some get panicked and all come up with any philosophy possible that rejects Jesus Christ and, off course, His followers.

I think your analogy says it all. Christians try to make out like everyone's suffering when they are perfectly happy with their life as it is. It is a delusion, and a lack of understanding of free will to try and force someone to be saved.

Muslims aren't strong enough to threaten our form of government over hear. But there's a hoard of Christians and Catholics who want to replace freedom with a theocracy.
