the lymph nodes along my daughters' jawline always swell up when she has a virus or an infection in her system. sometimes they feel like marbles! it could indicate an infection in your system; possibly even one you aren't aware of - you maybe just haven't come down with all of the symptoms yet. You might want to see your doctor - good luck!

My sister-in-law has this exact problem, and just had radiation treatment for it. Hers was not cancer, which it could be, but just had nodules on her lymph nodes along her jaw line. They got enlarged and had to be shrunk by radiation so they didn't interfere with her breathing.
Or it could be something else entirely. Sometimes the increase in the size of your lymph nodes indicates an infection or illness.
Have you been to the doctor? They should be able to give you resources where you can find out more information. But here is some.

Lymph nodes can swell up for many reasons. Have you been sick, maybe had a sore throat or sinus infection? They can sometimes swell up due to allergies. Sometimes they swell up when you have more serious diseases. If it does not go away within a few weeks visit the doctor. Normally these are nothing to worry about. Some people that are thin, can feel them all the time right under there skin. I can feel the ones in my neck, they are small and movable.
If lymph nodes are hard then that is a sign it is malignant.

I believe that is a good sign of infection. My husband had staph one time and his lymph nodes were very swollen. You should definitly see a Dr immediately. If left unattended it is possible to be very life threatning. Good Luck

It could be a lot of things. In fact, it may not even be a lymph node. Inflamed salivary glands, abcessed teeth, or even bone cancer can cause swelling. You should see a doctor.

if its painful...its not likely to be serious...most probably an infection or a block salivary gland. But if its not painful then u got to be more wary. It could be a form of lymphoma or cancer...should seek consultation immediately
