It seems that the padding on the machines at most fitness centers I have worked out is red. Is there a reason for this?

It's like cars. Red cars make you look fast and cool. The same thing applies to gym equipment!

Sounds like you live in the East Coast. If you live in the Northern States the color is Blue, and down in the Southern States it's white, and if you live out on the West Coast the color is Orange.

yeah coz if you pump so much iron and ur arms brake off, you wouldnt stain the seats
