I'm sure God new exactly what he was doing when he made that promise. However, he didn't promise not to destroy the world again. He promised not to use a flood next time. God will someday Destroy the world and all you have to do to get to the world that he has replaced it with, is ask. Then you will live on a world without suffering and pain.

Actually, He said that He would destroy the earth again, just not by flooding it.
2 Peter 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

NO, not really. What the bible said was that God made a promise never to destroy the world again by means of water. The next time he does it it will be by fire.

Genesis 9:15
15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
He said never will the WATERS become a flood to destroy all life - He did not say He would not destroy all life.

God knew in advance what was going to happen. Besides all that, we the human race, are destroying the earth!
Shame on us for destroying this beautiful planet.

Never
after all that free will that we have is deadly
the world is moving the way it is suppossed to be
All those who who hate God have already fled
from b4 His Face
and have been judged for their actions
He is starting over
after He comes because the separation of sheep and goats
will take place
And the Our Father will be fulfilled
On earth as it is in Heaven
And when He gives us this day our daily bread
we will come to the depth of understanding
as never b4

Actually, His exact words are...
"Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." - Genesis 9: 11
This leaves us open to destruction by earthquake, meteor shower, or fire. Most of the events written in Revelation mention "fire, brimstone, and sulfur"...

Doesn't matter. God can do anything. He can just write the 3rd Testament - revised edition - with a whole new set of rules. Happened between the O.T. and the N.T. didn't it?

The earth will be destroyed by fire. There will be a new heaven and a new earth and the wicked will perish.
