I was not feeling well because of my ear infection. She asked what was wrong. I said something about how my perscription for Vicadin was making me sick, and I was going to ask the doctor for some other pain killer, or maybe I will just take the pain "like a man"(no drugs). That was two days before I left town on business. While I was gone, she called my girlfriend to ask if I would sell her my remaining Vicadin. My girlfriend told her that I threw it out.

Would you tell my friend? Also, I don’t want them to break up. I want her to get better.

I would not give her the drugs with or without the money. I plan to throw them out. I just need to know the best way to let my friend know that she is "drug fishing".

The answer whenever anyone asks you to buy your prescription is NO.
You are responsible for what happens to them if you give them the medications.
People are crazy over Vicodin, they come in to the office to ask for them all the time.
You don't want to continue someone's addiction.
I wouldn't tell your friend.
It is enough for you to know.
If he is your true frined though, I would tell him to make sure that his sig other doesn't have a drug addiction.

Your girlfriend was right to say you threw your pills out. I would not tell the friend though. However, the next time the 4 of you are together your girlfriend should mention in front of your friend to the fiance that she (the girlfriend) was sorry you threw out the Vicadin she (the fiance) asked for. Then at that point the problem is out in the open for your friend to decide what to do with his relationship with his fiance.

It doesn't mean she's a drug addict! Yes, she may have an issue with prescriptions, but don't treat it as a big deal. If you feel like it's something that your friend would look down upon and actually not want to be with a person who was taking this medication, then I would tell him. Do it in a nonchalant way. Don't overemphasize the situation. Maybe even say something jokingly and see how he reacts. Maybe your friend does it as well, and you just don't know about it.

Sometimes being a friend means telling them the truth and asking for their opinion in how you should handle this. This is an opportunity not a problem. An opportunity to be a better friend to your friends fiance. Tell her you are struggling with this decision and involve her not him in resolving this. It you are sincere she will know it. Solve this issue together and be a friend to her. By doing this you will be showing faith in the strength of your relationship with him.

THROW THEM OUT. Just like you plan to do. You are responsible for anything that happens to that person and different drugs have different side effects on everyone. Yes I would tell you're friend this shows your loyalty, although I would do it nonchalantly.
