The magnetic pole reversal is way overdue (global warming is a sign that its headed that way....pollution isnt to blame for that nor the ozone layer depletion) and that will cause much damage when it happens. It doubtful even that will cause total extinction of human life....as wherever the is a possibilty of life it will cling on and survive.

What does it mean to me? Very little in the scheme of things. Life is so fleeting anyway...100 years at most, a lot less time for the majority, none of us is immortal. When I die I'll either be nothing or have conciousness, as will my offspring and ancestors. If I happened to survive.....I'd make do with whatever was available to maintain that for myself and others.

I don't. I figure there's much more life in us as a species yet than the misanthropic millenialists and rapturists give us credit for.

It seems to me that a lot of people who believe that the world is going to end soon actually _want_ it to end soon. They are ticked off with humanity and secretly hope for a god to come along and blow it all away.

Sad, if you ask me.

Christians have been predicting the end of the world for 2,000 years. They haven't been right yet.

People make a bunch of money selling books, DVD's, movies, etc. supposedly "proving" we're in the End Times. If we are, why are they bothering making piles of money? They can't use it after the end of the world.

Don't be a sucker and fill those folks wallets.

Of cours I do,
its the judgement day, when every will judged whether they were good or not in this life. Don't you think why there is poeple suffer and other got the power other are rich and other poor. because God give us every thing in this life in order to test us will we be good and grateful or we wil use his pless to our enjoyment and to impower our self even if that meant we will have to step on other happiness all we care is our self . So ther must be an ending for this and it will be on the judgment day and if you were good you'll go to paradise and if you weren't you'll go to hell...

I bet a lot of people think the world is coming to an end because they have lived a life that they think is not worth living so they want it to end. I, on the other hand, dont think so.

The coming of the end means the abolishment of all sorts of political, cultural, religious, social, racial, national, ideological hatred. And the love of the One True God will reign supreme.

I certainly don't. It's a fairy tale. I suspect a few people would even survive full scale nuclear war if it happened.
