i've been to both Atlantic city and Tunica. If you haven't been to vegas, i'd suggest vegas. But if you have to choose between these two, i'd pick AC. It's a nice tourist attraction with the boardwalk and shops and everything else. Most of the casinos are easy to walk to except the ones off the the strip (one example is the Borgata, but you can easily take a cab there)

Tunica is nice, but it's mostly spread out, and the poker games are fewer in this mostly rural area. You may be able to get cheaper rooms here and it's not as "hoppin" as AC if you prefer a more quiet setting. hope this helps.

Atlantic City. The games at the Borgata are redonkulous.

I like Atlantic City better - if you are a moderate player, I would suggest pokerstars.com or even partypoker.com - as aside from being able to read another player - you can read his on-line betting just as easy. Plus you can include notes.

If your looking for a real challenge, you would go to AC because its just more popular for card sharks. Stick with the home games if your not confident. You will also need a bankroll and not be afraid to lose it if you do. Good luck with the games!
