I would rather have my own dog than to have a robot. At least if I have a dog I could have entertainment rather then having a robot that you can't do any thing with like play outside.

Well the real question here is clearly: which makes the better slave? So it depends on how obedient the robot or dog is. I wouldn't want Bender to be my robot, because I can't afford all the rum he needs to keep him fuelled, and quite frankly I'm not sure I could count on him on the battlefield. Barney's damn cute but now I'm wary seeing those scratches on you! If the robot in question is you, what I want to know is:
1. will you defend me from burglars and Cockney ghosts?
2. how much upkeep do you require?
3. can you raise a robot army?
If the answers meet my requirements, I will make sure your oil can never goes empty.

I have four dogs all very intelligent border collies and would not want to swap any of them of a robot. They greet you with happy smiles and waggy tails, lick you when you ar down, make you laugh with their antics and introduce you to new friends and hobbies. They all have their own individual personalities and try to please me in different way. Compared to these a robot would be boring, mundane and I wouldn't want my face licked by a chunk of metal!!

Oh definitely my dog, she is smarter than the average robot anyhow, she is also very loving and loyal, always glad to see me and never lets me down due to lack of batteries or electricity.
