This is a fun question - thank you !!

Frogs legs have been around, on French and Continental menus, for ages. They are good, though I don't care for the aftertaste.

"Trotters" [pig's feet] traditionally have been served in a vinegar brine. I had them roasted in London and they were "drop dead delicious."

From a health standpoint, I suspect trotters are better - less trans-fat.

The method here is to get a cookbook on "offal" - this word refers to the waste material from meat animals [purists will claim offal is only organ meat, but that is too narrow a definition] - see what sounds interesting and do-able and cook 'em up.

You might be surprised at how good some of these meats are.

thank you again for a great question -

Pigs feet ! I bought some for the first time at the weekend, in Dublin. They make the Irish dish called crubeens. You boil them with a carrot, onion, cloves and bay leaf for 2-3 hours and serve with salad. Absolutely delicious. Far more to get your teeth into than frogs legs!

Ewwwe gross. If I was forced to eat one by someone with a gun or an axe, I guess I'd try the pigs feet.
