My bf claims that he doesn't do that but I found out once that he actually messaged one online friend whom I got to know recently.
He didin't told me about it until I asked him.
Although it was only a casual message, I got very upset and find that it is so difficult to trust him anymore.

What should I do?

Leave him. If he lied to you once, he'll lie to you again. You don't have a relationship if you don't have trust.

I believe when you are in a relationship, both of you should still have your own time for your things like message others in friendsters or IM with your friends. Maybe you will disagree with me but I feel it is alright for not telling you afterall it is his personal life. Both of you should give each other some breathing space, if you try to control him too tight the relationship may not work out well for both of you. You have to be confidence in your relationship, otherwise your relationship won't last long. Do give yourself and your bf sometime to settle things out

I am in a relationship and I use myspace. I only use it to keep in touch with friends who live far away and to hear from friends back from highschool and such. But as for trying to make chick friends, I wouldnt even think about crossing that line. If he is being secretive about it, thats just as bad as meeting someone in person without telling you. There is no reason for him to be trying to make chick friends. Maybe guy friends, but not ladies. It could just be harmless chatting to him, but you may not know the other person's intentions. If hes not telling you the truth about that, then Id be weary.

haha many relationships have been destroyed by My Space honestly, really if you're in a relationship you need to be very clear about your relationship status at the least to make sure your partner knows what your intentions are even if others still try to message you. Leave that My Space mess alone, both of you! lol.

i recognize the way you sense! i have been by that & this is honestly confusing. this isn't a solutin. you need to truthfully examine with him. tell him what you recognize, the way you sense, what you've been doing and how you imagine you both can form this out! If he would not sound very prepared to form this difficulty out, then...babe, i'm sorry yet you need to imagine about looking a guy who advantages you! yet you need to attempt to advance verbal substitute - between the numerous causes relationships fail is bcs of lack of verbal substitute! i desire this can help! best of success!

I do not think that it is wrong to message anyone as long as there isn't anything going on. You wouldn't want to give up friends, so I would think that if he gave up messaging, that would be like giving up a friend.

Maybe you're being a little over sensitive.

As long as the e-mails remain "casual" and not flirtatious or sexual then leave him to it.
