check with your local fire department, they've come in and given us cpr classes and also gave all of us a mouth shield for the keychain

A local hospital may donate one also check your local EMS agency (their funding isn't so good either). A mouth shield is normaly no more than $20 and it is worth the money.

1. I don't recommend face shields in first-aid kits- that makes them less accessible than they should be. Even Red Cross first-aid kits don't have masks in them.

If you are in a high-risk site, get a lot of cheap masks and scatter them in likely places. We Velcro ours near fire extinguishers (along with a blood clean-up kit)

2. A lot of places give away 'promotional' masks. Try websites that offer printed advertsing materials.

3. The cheapest masks I have found are $5 each, and are available at the Red Cross.

Call your local hospital, they should have an extra one to donate.
