Getting my laundry. I felt sorry for him because He was obiously illegal and I started to think Wow look at what he's doing just to survive in this country poor guy May be I should Think more about illegals and why they are here and so on and so on. Then the little phervert winked at me and started calling me over there and I was like oh hell no! screw that little pherv he's disgusting! How many people think it was just the wrong time and place for that guy to be hitting on me? I mean come on he's going through the trash can! What's up with this guy?

hes hurting, hes going to reach out to people in strange ways, because he doesnt know what else to do. Think about the struggles hes probably gone throug, how would you feel if you were in his shoes. He was just looking for love, in a disgusting way yes, but you should have just said no and maybe possibly given him some food!

I'm just wondering how did you know he was Mexican ? And how did you know he was illegal ?? (how is it "Obvious" that someone is illegal )
Turning cans in for money is a great way to survive, especially for the homeless. There is no shame in collecting cans, my brothers and I used to do that during the summers for cash, didn't rummage thru trash cans, just the weeds in the ditches.
As for him hitting on you, maybe he thought you would be down since you were watching him. Now if he did it in a total creepy way, maybe he was trying to get rid of you .

Lady i am Mexican/American that lives in the biggest melting pot of the Great U.S. of A. In Chicago I see all races digging for food and recyclables, and if a hot lady comes by every man i know will send out a wink. Be grateful that someone thought you were hot.
My Grandmother's family was in California for over 200years.
A little background my grandfather he came to the states illegally in 1906 to work the rails.His Grandparents were from louisiana when Texas and Cali were still Spaniard controlled.My family has been veterans in two world wars,vetnam and i was in desert storm.I am true blue American.

I supose, i went by airport protection final week, had to take my talk off and that i replaced into no longer donning socks, so i had to stroll barefoot. I couldent rather be afflicted with socks. basically after strolling in the process the gate and to the top have been i'm getting my shoes back, my ft have been lined in airborne dirt and dust. I couldent placed my shoes back on, so walked bare foot!

lol.....some guys just go by the philosophy of hitting on every woman that looks their way. sure they get blown off a lot......but then again at some point someone is gonna take them up on it.....
one answerer said this only points out another example of how illegals are ruining this country....that is just total bunk ! give me a break ! there are guys driving porsche's that have the same philosophy....only i'd bet the guy drivin' the porsche has a better chance than the guy picking for cans.......lol

Its a pity, many people in world make living from garbage. In many coutries little children, who cant even speak properly, have garbage bags on their shoulders, while school bags should have been there. Hugh money is spent in the name of defence, security, religion, one's own selfish and for immoral needs by governments and people alike,, but who cares for general people. What the Maxican boy doing in your country? If the government there is capable enough he would have been living with his family there, living comfortably. Does anybody want to go out in some foreign land for picking garbage? Its a shame on world governments and humanity. Corrupt, incapable, eccentric leaders, policy makers, implementers will never have shame, so its a shame on you, its a shame on me and we can do precious little to help, there are millions of garbage boys in this global village. May God give me enough capacity, I'll do my bit.

Maybe he thought you were another illegal? Maybe he wasn't, but, was down on his luck? Maybe you looked like someone who'd be willing to go with him? I've seen lots of guys picking up cans and selling them, what's the price of aluminum out there in Califreakia, nowadays? When I was there it was 85 cents a pound to the first hundred, and, though I was in the navy, my wife and I drank a lot of cokes and so, had lots of cans and we recycled..
So, this poor guy, who's been hunting aluminum cans and bottles so he can do his civic duty and be able to buy some gas for his beemer in the meantime, decides, hey, maybe I'll flirt with this chica..
and you come down on him.. where's YOUR green card?

seriously. I had some guys come in to the restaurant i work at about 2 weeks ago. they had obviously been drinking and i told my manager... hey, should i serve these 4guys a pitcher of beer and he went over and checked them out. He said, yes they've been drinking but don't look overly drunk so yes serve them a pitcher and just keep an eye out on them. (since you said illegals it brought this to mind cause they were 4 non speaking English Hispanic guys) Anyway, i gave them their pitcher, and when i was pouring their friggin been one on the corner turned at a 90 degree angle and blatantly stared at my behind while saying "oohhh baby!". I was pissed!!!! who in the freak did he think he was. I didn't pour their beet after that and barely went by their table. needless to say, men/boys are like that. You just made me remember because you said he was an illegal.

To ignore your question about the time and place for someone to hit on you, I will say that I have heard that LA, for example, hires these people to pull cans. They separated them out prior to being hired and the waste companies felt it was worth paying them to separate cans from other recyclables. In which case they may not be illegal.
OK, I won't ignore your question: I think it was out of line. Particularly given your apparent age.
