Usually when a cat has blood in its urine,it is a UTI.The way to tell if it is a UTI is to watch her for the rest of today,,when she drinks does she drink alot? When she goes to the litter box and urinates does she look as though she's straining to urinate? Is she crying when she goes?
I lost a male cat to UTI about 3 years ago and according to vet, being an inside or outside cat has little to do with a cat getting a UTI.
The best precaution is certain type of cat food for urinary health and a litter that has no dust in it.
If you notice the trouble with the urinating or/and crying, she should see a vet asap.

I have never heard of a kitten with a urinary tract infection. Blood in the urine is a serious symptom and I would not hesitate to have a vet check the kitten over. Something is not right and with kittens things can go south quickly and fatally.

First of all, you need to take her to the vet. It could be a UTI. But did you know that cats can get cancer. Feline leukemia to be exact. I go to school with a girl who said her cat had blood in its urine and she didnt take it to the vet. It died 3 days later. Good luck.

At this age it DOES sound like a UTI. Struvite or calcium crystals cut the lining of the urethra and the result is bloody urine. Your vet will have to diagnose WHICH type of crystals she is forming, and you will most likely need to adjust the type pf food she eats.
