Why? Some drugs are illegal, some are totally legal, many are somewhere in between. What about medical drugs? Many consider caffeine to be a drug, as it changes the way you feel, but banning it would be a bit extreme.

I agree there is a discrepancy however between the way the government treats alcohol and how it treats other drugs. We allow alcohol because people enjoy drinking it, and people should be able to do things they enjoy. Perhaps the same should apply to other drugs as well. Everything is bad for you if you have too much of it, but Burger King isn't illegal.

Alcohol is a drug, and so is caffeine. Should we get stricter laws for getting coffee as well?

I agree. Tobacco is the leading cause of preventable deaths, yet it's freely available.

What you need to understand is that the people with the most money make the laws. They make the laws that BENEFIT THEM - NOT YOU.

Alcohol and tobacco are hugely profitable, therefore you will NEVER see laws enacted that will cut into that profitability.

yea i personally think that alcohol is way to easy to get. but i mean with me i thnk that if they control it then's it ok. i mean i dont' like it at all but you can't stop people doing what they want to do and sticking to it. but i mean i don't agree that like 16 17 and 18 year old kids can get it. i mean it's to easy.
but yea laws should be more stricter

Making it a drug is the work of the intellectually challenged. Rough, tough and bad.
