I took the mensa test (High I might add) and scored very well, 28 out of 30, in 21 minutes.

It said I was good. Now do other Mensa people live the high life like I do? Or are they all nerdy professors?

Gee, you live the high life? (Grin!)

I think a lot of professors might not even gain entry to Mensa, whereas on the other hand I had a friend who sailed through the test and joined, and he drives a garbage truck for a living!

In other words..

Oh, I don't really need to explain in other words... You know already :)

Anyway, I suggest you join a Mensa club. There's usually a great mix of people, they talk about anything and everything and respect opinons as long as they're not totally obtuse and they really don't care what you do or how high you live. Even in a tree house is fine.

In fact if you DO live in a treehouse you'll be the envy of everyone...

Don't pay attention to "Dan" who answered on here. He's a loser and a jerk. The 125 is your IQ. The top 15% means that you're smarter than 85% of the population, and that 15% of the population is smarter than you. My score is 133, and I barely squeeked in with 98% percentile. There are other tests that you can study for to get in Mensa, like the SAT or GRE.

To have a reliable score for a Mensa test you should do at least five to ten of these tests, not just one. Maybe you got lucky just once

An IQ test is a test that tells you how good you are at doing IQ tests. Nothing else.

It is an eletist sham, these tests are always culturaly, economicaly and racialy biased.

Most people have the same number of brain cells or intelligence, but choose to use them in different ways.

To say someone is more intelligent than someone else is highly simplistic and an insult to the rich and diverse ways in which people choose to live thier lives.

Mensa is a group of people that are good at IQ tests that have decided to make a little club so they can make up more tests for themselves to reinforce the fact that they are good at doing IQ tests. There is nothing wrong with that, they're a happy bunch for sure, and that is just a choice they have made.

There happen to be a lot of people like you that by life circumstances have been led to the position where they fit in well with the cultural, racial and economical bais these tests demand and will be good at doing IQ tests. Some of them will be dorky nerds some will be rock stars...

Atually a lot of comedians have high IQ's is that because they're intelligent or because they fit the profile these tests are biased towards.

What kind of people impress me then? Someone that is secure enough in the way they live their own life, that they choose not to define themselves by measuring themselves against others. So being proud of a high IQ is as silly as being proud of being "Cool" as opposed to "Nerdy" or "Young" instead of "Old"

I'm just me, and I'm happy and free spirited, and I like myself and love other people. Thats what I think real intelligence should be rated on.

(Oh alright, I can alway get %99 in those tests, but it doesn't mean a darn thing)

Most people in Mensa can't walk across the street without getting hit by a car...Looks like you already found that out though...

What a loser. Geez, you think that is good? I got 30 out of 30 in 15 minutes. And yeah, I live the high life, what do you think I'm doing on here?

Good for you!
From what I know of them, most Mensans live ordinary lives, put their pants on one leg at a time, etc... you'd never know they were brilliant, except when they get together....!!! :)
Join the Mensa organization, get yourself registered and see where it takes you....at the very least, you'll acquire new friends.

Your inability to structure a self composed sentence, without using the term "I", provides evidence to the world, you will never obtain high-school equivalency GED.

You're so smart you figure it out!

I volunteer with inner city kids on how to find something they love and pursue it - the 9-5 isn't for me.
