Yes...according to this guy...

""The far right, the religious right are driving moderates out of the party. In the end, that can only hurt because it takes a critical mass to have a successful party," Schwarz said in his first extensive interview since losing the Aug. 8 primary to Tim Walberg.

The Battle Creek physician said several friends told him they plan to leave the party after watching him be hammered on social issues and then lose in spite of endorsements by establishment Republicans including President Bush and Saul Anuzis, chairman of the Michigan Republican Party."

Gee, Christians are the ONLY people to use intimidation tactics, too.

This NEVER happens in Unions, the Democratic Party, NOW, the Gay Rights Political Movement, or big business. Good thing Iran and China don't use intimidation tactics.

No silly!

The Old guard Repubs are just mad that the Christians are taking over the party because of it's Pro-Life Platform. If it wasn't for that Plank in the Platform the Republican Party would be dead.

I don't necessarily agree with the far right conservatives...anymore... but how is this different from any other political group? Let's be honest about it. This is just politics and nowadays, EVERYBODY fights dirty.
