My ISP, Corecomm http://home.core.com supports linux red hat..


I tried connecting though.. unfortunatly i have winmodem *cry*

Yes, its just a matter of doing a google search. In fact many ISPs who say they don't support Linux work just fine. What you have to do is locate the local number you want to use and then manually insert it in your dialer the first time. I did this to get JUNO and NETZERO ( both who claim they don't support Linux) and I writing this from a JUNO account right now

Ones with basic internet service (not like AOL) should work just fine.
