Eat nuts, peanuts and cashews, if you are not allergic. Drink water to replenish your fluid.

Avoid snickers bars AND mint lolllies. They will give you an insulin surge and you will just feel tired after it all, on top of your jogging.

Try for low GI snacks.

If you must have some carbs try it in the form of low GI cereals - bran cereals or Nutrigrain or something like that. Not the sugary sweet cocopops or other kiddy cereals.

Try having snacks with protein. Ham sandwich or ham and salad or something similar. Tuna is good.

Neither unless you feel like doing that jog all over again. If you have to have a "sweet" you might do well to stock up on some nutrition bars that are lower calorie and have vitamins in them. Nowadays they taste really good! Otherwise, go get a piece of fruit and good for you for jogging!
