Catholics are already free to accept evolution.

The Catholic Church does not take the story of creation in the Bible literally. Catholics believe it tells religious truth not historical fact.

The religious truth is that God created everything and declared all was good.

The Church supports science in the discovery of God's creation. At this time, the theory of evolution is the most logical scientific explanation. However tomorrow someone may come up with a better idea.

As long as we believe that God started the whole thing, both the Bible and modern science can live in harmony.

With love in Christ.

The catholic Church has no official position on the theory of evolution except that tehy do not see any conflict with the theory of evolution and the fact that god created everything.

Even the catholics are evolving, they just are blind to the fact that that is why Jesus came here. To alter the older way of praising the Lord. He did.

There would be no point to that since god is all knowing and would know what would evolve.

No, they won't accept it, they're too damn stubborn. I don't get why they can't understand real evidence and forget about the bible for once and for all.
