The answer is simple, NO. Contacts have a life span. Contacts are designed for certain uses. Weekly lenses are designed for weekly wear, One day lenses for one day wear etc. The lens is designed to give you the best benefit during that life span. If a lens is a one day lens, after one day wear it begins to break down. Wearing a lens longer than it is designed to wear can cause infections, scratches on your eye, and even permanent damage.
If you want a lens you can wear longer than one day ask your doctor about a different fit. Contacts are a medical device just like medication. Most people follow the instructions on a prescription bottle given by your doctor. You should think of your contacts the same way. After all, contacts are given to you by prescription, by a doctor just like medication.

I'm going to be honest with you. I have 2 week contacts that I'm supposed to throw away, then replace...
I honestly think it's a little ridiculous. For sure, you can wear those contacts more than 1 day. I wear my 2 week ones for MONTHS. This pair I'm wearing currently, I have been wearing since June. Now, I will say that, and I also will say, just be really careful too. If you have pink eye, throw away the contacts and wear your glasses for a few days, then wear new contacts. If you have some other eye disease, it's best to ask your doctor. But I would say that you will do just fine using your 1 day contacts for sure up to 1 week, and probably up to 3 weeks.

there's a hydrogen soak answer that my eye surgeon counseled for me that enables enhance the size of harm on your lenses. The draw lower back is you will desire to be able to bypass away your lenses soaking for an entire 6 hours or you will adventure burning and stinging once you insert your lenses. it is stated as sparkling care by ciba imaginative and prescient and it comes with a posh lab finding locker case which you are able to droop your lenses in earlier putting right into a vial for the night. This technique is an exceedingly deep cleansing and sterilization of the lense and removes all protein buildup. i became into brutally trustworthy with my eye surgeon and mentioned that i became right into a unmarried mom on welfare with terrible imaginative and prescient and that i tend to overwear even though lenss is prescribed to me, i wanted her to comprehend this and element that onto her decision of prescription. So she mentioned with any mushy lenses to apply that answer (even gave me a bag of pattern bottles) and you would be able to proper double the existence of your lenses.

Probably not that is why they are 1 day contacts and not 2 day contacts. Your eye could get dry and or infected if you do not properly take care of them with contact wear.
