www.edmunds.com and www.kbb.com are the only two sites you will need :) I used those sites to buy my new car last year.

Check out carsdirect.com. I just bought a new car in April and our friend recomended that site, and we found it very helpful. You can actually buy the car from that site, which our friend has done in the past. Their prices on the cars we were checking out were cheaper than what we saw at the dealers. You could print out what you want with the price on it and use that as a haggling tool with the dealer, too. My husband did that and he got another $500 knocked off the price of our car.

I look at www.carsdirect.com to get an idea of what a new car is selling for. They give you a "target" price, based on how well a given model sells, supply and demand etc.
