I met this guy about a year ago and at the time he quite liked me but i had just broken up with my boyfriend so didn.t want to start anything. Now i keep seeing him again when i'm out and i really like him. The only problem is he said he doesn't like me like that anymore. Sometimes he acts like he is interested but then ignores me for ages afterwards. I really want him to like me again because he is lovely but i don't know what i need to do for him to want me again! He's a lot older than me and i think he sees me as a bit childish. Some of his friends who i used to get on with are also a bit off with me because i rejected him a while ago.

You can't do anything about it. He's moved on and so should you. The timing was never there and it's not meant to be.

Maybe you should apologize first and give him a few days to think about it...then go to him again and tell him that you really feel like you made a mistake by not giving him a chance before and you would like to try again if he is willing to. If he don't answer you right away don't be impatient, just be understanding and hey who knows he might think since you apologized and came to him like a true adult than you deserve another chance...good luck!

He may be doing the same thing that you did to him. Not being totally sure about him then he didn't have time to play those games we women play when we're mad at another guy. If you plan on using the guy for jealousy then I would suggest you leave him alone. But if you want to connect with him for real then go for it.

Look guys are like this. You reject them for whatever reason, they do not forget it. It stays with them. What he is saying to himself is "why should I take a chance?" because all she is going to do is play games with me again. It is called "being burnt". The road that you travel on is a road he does not want to travel on again. You had your chance and you blew it. Move on with life and learn from this experience. Guys are not toys that you play with. Today you don't like them, but tommorrow you do. Like this guy, most guys will tell you to move on and find someone else. He is through with you and your silly little games.

As you mention he's a lot older than you. My suggestion to you is leave him.Don't disturb him for your own wishes.He may be in some trouble or any other reason. WHY YOU ARE PUTTING DOUBLE EFFORTS TO GET BACK WHAT IS NOT FOR YOU.

you cant make someone like you and still be true to yourself. that is childish. be yourself and if he likes you he does, and if he doesn't, let it go. and move on, there is nothing worthwhile for you there other than hurt feelings down the road. perhaps his interest in you then was to take advantage of your vulnerability. now that you aren't vulnerable, he doesn;t want to invest the energy ... move on, be yourself

unfortunatly you can't make someone like you....you can only make them not like you....
give him space and if it is meant to be it will happen......failing that get him drunk and sleep with him...its a long shot and no basis for a real relationship but i know lets of couples who started that way
