Stella Artois is the most popular one I can think of... it was everywhere when I was there. It's now in America too. Very tasty!

Depends what you mean by 'beer'. Stella is lager, hardly a 'real' beer. Once you get into the subject, beer is as complex as wine, with small brewers, mainstream beers and specialist types.

You will certainly find Stella in most English pubs. Also Guinness, of course. I urge you to try things like IPA, Boddingtons and REAL apple cider (like Scrumpy Jack).

I knew an English chap that came to the States and he couldn't Find New Castle anywhere. He finally convinced the manager of a local pub to start carring it. A month later New Castle became one of there best selling beers and he was the only one drinking it. That limey bastard could drink like a fish!
