Some people die because of bad choices that they make. Others die from terrible disease or accidents. I look at it as, God saw how much someone is hurting and is ready to take them home - like children with cancer. I also think that some people die in accidents to teach those around them to take a closer look at their own life and see if they need to make changes. Still others who have done terrible things - God still gives us the chance to accept him and it takes much longer for some than others. God has plans for us that we can't even remotely grasp. If we have near death things - he isn't ready for us yet - he has plans for us and needs us to remain on earth longer or he is giving us time to turn our lives around.

That is a tricky question. I don't believe the answer can be found on the internet, so I will tell you my feelings toward this. I believe that the reason for life's unfairness is for two reasons. One, to surface our feelings of sympothy, love and charity. I say this because if the world was perfect (there being no tragic death or disease), then we would have less moral and value of life. My cousin died also of a drug overdose (at age 19) and her death has encouraged me to stay away from drugs and get my education. Without that experience, I could not have learned first hand of the consequences of drugs. Secondly, I believe that those things happen as a natural population control. I know that may sound weird, but I have thought on it before and can not think of any other reasons. If we all lived to be 100, the world would be very crowded and we would not be able to sustain life anyway, especially in today's world.

There are some misconceptions out there.
1. Life is supposed to be fair. Anyone who's lived more than five years knows that's not true. God never promised it would be.
2. God's not exactly in charge of this world we live in. The Adam and Eve story is the first story in the Bible. God gave us the opportunity to live in peace the way He intended and we decided to do otherwise. His response was to hand over control to the world that we live in. It's unclear (a gray area) as to whether He put the devil in charge for tempting us or if He put us in charge so that we could live in our own mess.
That's not to say that He can't help us out if we pray and love Him. Every parent has to turn his chiildren out into the world at some point, it doesn't mean that they can't help them out from time to time.

Why do people blame God for what man does? We all have a free will and free choice. Most just do whatever they want and don't consider the consequences of their sin. Life is mysterious to a point, but most of the time it is left to us to live it how we choose. We can either live according to our will or live according to God's will. It's impossible to tell why parents are killed. Maybe it was a way of saving the children from future abuse or crime or whatever. No one can ever know all the answers.

Well, it's easy, "god" isn't real. He's a made-up solution to the problem of our inescapeable mortality, and the fear it causes. Many people "feel" better when they believe in "god" and are told that they will go to a nice happy place after they eventually die because of their faith in this imaginary sky daddy and trying to follow the rules in a book that was compiled from ancient writings by many old dead, jewish guys. Bad things happen everyday to good people, and good things happen to bad people. If it was true, what they teach about "god", then he is either not loving, or not all powerful and all knowing. But, for those of us who have pondered and searched already to our own ends, we atheists believe that it is much more likely that he doesn't exist at all.

See dear, we have become so materialistic nowadays that we have accepted God as a human. We perceive His thoughts like He's a human. But this is not so. Once, Prophet Moses (PBUH) asked God,
I wish 4 things existed and 4 didn't.
1. Only health, and no illnesses.
2. Only wealth, no poverty.
3. Only Heaven, no Hell.
4. Only Life, no death.
The Wise and Almighty God replied,
1. "If there existed only health and no illness, how were I to see an ill patient, asking for deliverence and praying to me for health."
2. "If only wealth existed and no poverty, how were I to see who are the thankful people who always are patient and thankful to me, in pverty and in wealth."
3. "If only Heaven existed and no Hell, how would've I frighten the people from staying away from sins."
4. "And lastly, if only Life existed and no death, how would have I shown you My Magnificent Self in person, that you humans can not see while your souls are in your body."
So the point is, God Almighty has his own reasons. Our religion teaches us, the Muslims, that we shoud be thankful to Allah for whatever He has blessed us with. Islam teaches us that if it sems like a few of our prayers have not been listened to, those prayers are saved as good deeds for the Judgement Day, when we would badly need good deeds of this world for entering Paradise.
As for sinners who do evil deeds and apparently roam around, Allah assures us that He is the best Judge. And that's enough for me. This life is just like one microsecond, and the afterlife is eternal. What do you think, sinners burning in hell forever (and ponder on FOREVER) is more just, or they getting justice in this short life is better?
Faith is not believing God can, it's knowing He will.

each mortal has a purpose in their life to fulfill. once this purpose is completed the person goes to a different Plane of Existence. the idea that certain people " die before their time " is questioned by many including myself along the way. however everything happens for a reason and many times these reasons are far beyond mortals kin. to quote a poem " ours is not to wonder why -- ours is but to do or die. "

Good question. Sometimes those with near death experiences are getting a "wake up call' form God to believe. As far as the rest, I don't know. But I'm sure it is in Gods plan.

Looks like the three of you live dangerous lives. Time and chance are mentioned in the Bible, you know! Eventually risk taking will claim someone's life, so maybe you're asking the wrong question.
Maybe you should be asking why it wasn't you that died! Where's the fairness in that!
