I was an out of state tourist in N.J. last month and today I got a $25.00 fine for going through an EZ pass lane. They take a picture of your license plate going through so that's no dispute. I was very careful with paying the tolls and I'm wondering where exactly I did this violation, the ticket reads RAS plaza, lane 17S. Does anyone know where this is and do you think I can get out of paying this by saying it was an accident?

Your E-Z pass balance ran out while going through the toll plaza. I think you still have to pay the fine plus the toll. Many E-Z pass users are having the same problem which is why I'd rather pay cash and not bother with such devices.

You were on the Garden State Parkway at some toll plaza which begins with the letter R - I don't remember off the top of my head.
