I repent of my sins as soon as I am aware of them; and I ask God to forgive sins I do not see. I have the responsibility that comes with repentance of not repeating that sin. Salvation is available to anyone who asks but it carries with it a true desire to CHANGE those things which offend God.

Ahhhh, but after you repent, do you try to: A) atone for your sins and B) NOT repeat them? If yes, then salvation is yours. If no, then why bother asking? You don't really WANT it in the first place.

all one has to do is ask for forgiveness and seriously repent of their ways which they or the culture and society believe are deviant to the Belief System in which the offender lives. what one may deem to be wrong another may not. this is one reason we have so many different Belief Systems as each mortal has a purpose to find their own Path.
